Chabad Young Professionals of Kiev has been running since Autumn 2017. We aim to provide a social space as well as events for Kiev’s Jewish young professionals to get together, enjoy great food, learn, network and make new friends.
Chabad Young Professionals of Kiev launched with a spectacular Sukkot dinner in October 2017, and has since held a range of other events including "Girls Night Out" evenings, paint-balling events, Chanukah parties, BBQs - as well as weekly beautifully prepared Friday night meals - often based on specialty cuisines such as Japanese or Moroccan.
Chabad Young Professionals has also launched a series of events focusing on business and creativity, where mentors - each specialists in their field - take time to meet and network with Jewish young professionals.
We are delighted that our community is continually growing and welcoming people into our group for a range of exciting events, which have consistently received positive feedback from all our young members.
All of our events are either free of charge or heavily subsidized and are funded by charitable contributions from philanthropists - based both locally and abroad - who value the work we do.
We believe all people can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
To engage members
Our mission is based upon actively engaging members as members of a vibrant local Jewish community not seen in Ukraine since 1917.
Chabad YP is committed to Judaism that is a continuation of the normative orthodox halachic process, which is based upon the uninterrupted chain connecting the Jewish people of today with the Torah given by God to Moses and the Jewish people at Mount Sinai.
Judaism should be an active part of people's lives. Chabad YP supports Jewish values and practice, not merely as an academic pastime, but as a positive and central part of people's lives.
Inspired young Jews
